About the artwork

It was a strange studio space in an abandoned building. I never saw or heard a soul. There was no warm water from the faucet, and the yard outside had grown wild and untamed.

I ate too many cookies and salt crackers, sat outdoors, and let my mind wander.

It felt like a liminal space, somewhere between the waking world and a dream. And maybe that’s why this piece became so unreachable. Like clouds you can never touch, or the mist that hovers above fields on a summer morning.

A place for dreamers to wander. To go on quiet adventures and still always find their way back home.
