About the artwork
A rainy summer day. You get lost, observing endless streams of running water and the little raindrops on the surface of the river. Grey skies wrap around you like a blanket. Suddenly, the greenery comes alive and swallows you whole.
Then a grey heron greets you, while the distant hum of thousands of insects guides your way. Your hair is covered in marsh marigolds as you walk barefoot along these sandy shores.
When the rain stops, you’re no longer sure what was real.
And you’ll wait for that rain to return for the rest of your life.
