About the artwork
Do you ever feel like you want to immerse yourself into the landscape? Become a part of it. Turn into a pond, grow into a river. Slowly settling as the frost quiets the movement of the landscape.
This artwork was born during the heavy rains of November and December. When the landscape grew colder, the sky turned quiet and suddenly all the migratory birds were gone.
There’s something bittersweet about early winter. Like a quiet permission to grieve what’s been lost, while holding on to the deep trust that this too shall pass.
